Post Script

My father, Zvi Waldman, originally had one hundred copies of this book printed in Hebrew, as a private edition, in Israel (1997). I had this book translated into English on the request of my wife, Bronia, who wanted to read my father’s book. I also wanted my children to benefit from learning a different aspect of the Holocaust, as written by my father; and, of course, to commemorate my father’s personal struggles, perseverance, hopes and survival during the war.

My father passed away on October 28, 2015.

Special thanks to my wife Bronia, Stephanie Burnett, Maurice Krystal and Janice Goldfarb who helped with the English version of this book.
